FOCIP COVID-19 Work Party Procedures
January 25, 2021 Hi FOCIP Volunteers, here is some good news for 2021.We will be allowed to return to the State Parks ... on Tuesday Feb. 2nd. Our procedure will be similar to what we were doing in Oct. and Nov. I will announce the work party by email on the Sunday before a work party will be held. The announcement will include some of the tasks that will be available. If you are interested in attending let me know as soon as you can because we are limited to only 12 volunteers. If you are late to respond there may be some tasks available that are not located in the State Parks. I will email to let you know if you were selected, when, and where to meet by Monday evening. The morning of the work party you must self-access your health condition. This is still an important consideration for yourself and your fellow volunteers. Masks are required and you must observe the social distancing of 6 feet. The following is the update that I have just received from Jeff Wheeler. Stay safe and I hope to see you on Feb. 2nd. ------------ Tom
Based on additional new guidance provided by the Governor’s updated Outdoor Recreation COVID—19 Requirements, we have again updated our “Guidance on Volunteer Activity During COVID-19”. This update provides revised guidance consistent with the interpretation and approach being followed by other state and local agencies and partner organizations (e.g., WTA, EMBA & BCH).
