We are all still making adjustments to our way of living. Every day there are new concerns and precautions for us to adapt to. One of the latest is the complete closure of Cama Beach State Park and Camano Island State parks until further notice. This includes day use and hiking the trails. The gates will be closed.

The County is also closing certain parks because of virus concerns. At this time Iverson Spit, the tennis courts and the Dog Park are closed. Barnum Point is still open but limited to parking in the 15 curb defined parking places. Cars not parked in a designated parking spot will be ticketed.

For those of us who are Adopt A Park volunteers please respect the closure of your parks and do not walk your trails. Feel free to file a report and your hours when you are walking trails in any of our Island’s parks that remain open even if they are not your designated trails.
