If you follow the news, you know about the severe cuts to State Parks, including the layoff of many rangers around the state. Some parks will now have seasonal rangers only and at a reduced number.

State Parks Funding depends on the Discover Pass.  Please consider buying one.
You can purchase one at the Cama Beach State Park Welcome Center (360 387-1550) during their regular business hours, or from one of the local small stores selling fishing licenses.  The annual pass (good for one year from day of purchase) is $30 when purchased at a state park, $35 when purchased at a dealer or online.
You can get more info or buy online at http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/.
You also have the option to purchase a Discover Pass when you renew your tabs from WA DOL.
As of March 30, 2012, one Discover Pass can be shared between two vehicles.  See this news release or this FAQ  for more info.
