UPDATE AUG 20, 2020

Hi and thank you for all your help in making the trails on Camano Island the best in the area. FOCIP has the okay from the County and State Parks to resume our regular work parties in September. I wanted to clarify our County and State Parks policy for FOCIP Adopt A Park volunteers. You are now clear to resume your normal activities within the parks. You do not have to notify the parks of your arrivals or your activities. You are considered guesst of the parks with privileges. You should practice social distancing when possible. This is Jeff Wheeler’s suggestionThe plan looks good, we do not need to tape off or block the trail or other areas to keep the public from walking by, with masks on nothing is needed beyond how we used to protect people, i.e. protect them from us swing tools.  If someone is away from others, they can have their mask down while alone, just pull it up or put it on when they see someone approaching.”

So welcome back to the Parks. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks, take care and good luck. ------------- Tom

July 29, 2020

Hi I have good news from Jeff Wheeler with State Parks. Our Adopt A Trail volunteers are now permitted to return to their normal activities with in our parks if they follow the State requirements that I am attaching. So please look this over and practice social distancing and wear a mask. Please let me know if you are not ready to return. It is a very personal decision and I do understand. I look forward to hearing from you. Stay safe and good luck. --------------- Tom
